The Hirsch Phenomenon (part 13)
Time seemed to slow slightly as the sound echoed through the room. The "-al" seemed to hang in the air as a flash of yellow light illuminated the room.
Once the light had disappeared, Mabel stood in the center of the room in shock. She couldn't see herself, but she seemed to know something was different.
"Guys?" She asked at Alex, Mirra and Dipper, who stared at her open mouthed. "What is it?" She sounded scared.
"You, uh. You've got a new hairstyle, Mabel." Mirra breathed, smiling nervously. "And you're blond..."
"What happened?" Dipper asked. He looked at her, still with a look of surprise. Alex seemed speechless.
"Yep. That's Jake jr." Mirra said. "This is... not good." She looked around for a moment for a mirror. She ran off to the other room to try to find one.
"My sweater's different." Mabel noted. "My hair is in a pony tail..." She turned around. "Is this- is this a TAIL?" She said, looking at something protruding from the b
The Hirsch Phenomenon (part 12)They were back in the living room now. Mabel was back(apparently she had gone out looking for them after she put the cupcakes back), but there was still no sign of Stan or Soos.
"Remember guys, Mabel still doesn't know." Mirra whispered to them when Mabel was in the other room. Alex and Dipper nodded. Dipper had perked up again on the way back, but he still wouldn't talk much to either of them.
"So can you tell us a little more about the, what did you call it? The Keystone?" Alex asked.
"Ok, yeah." Mirra said. "So a week after I first watched Gravity Falls, my family and I went to England. We were in this walking tour-group thing the first few days, and as soon as the people in it knew I liked birds, they just talked nonstop about a bird called a dipper."
"A bird called a dipper..." Dipper muttered. "So that's how you found me after Circio turned me into a bird; you knew what kind I was."
"Woah, woah, wait." Alex interrupted. "Dipper got turned into a bird? And who
The Hirsch Phenomenon (part 11)Alex ran back to where Entropy was. Entropy was in the middle of playing with Dipper and Mirra like dolls. Mirra looked tired and Dipper looked too depressed to do anything.
"Well, look who's back." Entropy said. "You don't have it, do you?" He asked upon seeing Alex's expression. "Why don't you tell your friend why she gets to be my next snack?"
"Alex, what happened?" Mirra said, glancing between Alex and Entropy.
"Gideon." Alex replied. "Ughh, why am I so stupid? He must have taken the Keystone."
"Alex, just, ...just... what HAPPENED?"
"I went to the Mystery Shack and when I opened the door Gideon was there."
"And you didn't DO anything?"
"I was confused, I didn't know what TO do." Alex answered. Mirra facepalmed with her free arm, the other still in Entropy's grasp. "I went inside and the keystone was gone."
"See? This is GREAT Alex, really great." Mirra said, annoyed. "Now I get to be eaten... today is just going so GREAT for me!"
Entropy grinned and opened his mouth again.
The Hirsch Phenomenon (part 10)The monster encounter came earlier than expected.
Mirra, Alex and Dipper had only been walking for a few minutes before Mirra sensed that something was wrong.
"Stop." She said. She held her arms out as if to keep them back. "Be quiet. And stay where you are." She walked a few paces forward and turned around.
"Ok, there's nothing behind you. Is there anything behind me?" Mirra asked. They shook their heads. "There's something following us."
"Oh, so why don't we just sit here and let it get us!?" Alex said sarcastically. Suddenly something rustled in the trees. The wind picked up.
"Oh no." Mirra breathed. "Not him." Alex looked concerned, but before he could ask who "he" was, something large, grey and serpentine lunged out of the trees behind Alex, knocking him out of the way, flinging Dipper into the air, and pinning Mirra against a tree. Dipper landed on top of it and moaned.
"YOU!" It said at Mirra. "You idiot!" The mist around the creature started to disperse, revealing a
