The Hirsch Phenomenon (part 10)The monster encounter came earlier than expected.
Mirra, Alex and Dipper had only been walking for a few minutes before Mirra sensed that something was wrong.
"Stop." She said. She held her arms out as if to keep them back. "Be quiet. And stay where you are." She walked a few paces forward and turned around.
"Ok, there's nothing behind you. Is there anything behind me?" Mirra asked. They shook their heads. "There's something following us."
"Oh, so why don't we just sit here and let it get us!?" Alex said sarcastically. Suddenly something rustled in the trees. The wind picked up.
"Oh no." Mirra breathed. "Not him." Alex looked concerned, but before he could ask who "he" was, something large, grey and serpentine lunged out of the trees behind Alex, knocking him out of the way, flinging Dipper into the air, and pinning Mirra against a tree. Dipper landed on top of it and moaned.
"YOU!" It said at Mirra. "You idiot!" The mist around the creature started to disperse, revealing a
The Hirsch Phenomenon (part 9)Alex and Dipper followed Mirra out to her trailer. But it was different. Not exactly normal. The bathroom was completely gone, leaving the interior bedroom exposed.
"What the?" Dipper and Alex asked. Mirra was already examining the trailer.
"Yep." Mirra said. "I totally jinxed it." She frowned. "I hope it's not exactly like Eureka." She shuddered.
"Ok, so what is Eureka anyway?" Dipper asked.
"A town. In Oregon. Where weird things happen...A fictional town." Mirra answered.
"Like Gravity Falls!" Alex offered. Mirra ignored him.
"We need to stop this. This can't happen again." Mirra looked down at the floor of the trailer. "A Mr. Adequate bar?" She muttered something unintelligible.
"What was that?" Dipper asked.
"Nothing. Just that a couple people who shouldn't exist have been eating chocolate in my trailer. Also this is getting more like Eureka."
"I don't like any of this. I wish you guys hadn't told me about the show." Dipper said, looking at the ground. "
The Hirsch Phenomenon (part 8)"Ok, let me explain things a little before you make a bad decision that you'll probably regret." Mirra said to Dipper. "This video. It's- it contains information that, yes, will help you solve this mystery. But this information is an inconvenient truth."
"Wait, do you even have a video of just Made Me Realize on your computer?" Alex asked.
"Continue trying convincing me that I shouldn't watch this video." Dipper said impatiently.
"Ok. Basically, this video might change your life. I almost guarantee that you will regret watching it afterwards, wish that you didn't know. Curiosity is human, though. I've fallen for similar traps. Just, please, don't blame me for what happens next if you watch it. Don't blame Alex either. We were originally planing this for a worst case scenario."
"I heard." Dipper muttered. Mirra opened the computer, hesitating for a second as she looked at Alex.
"I'm sorry." Mirra said. "For both of you." She handed Dipper the waiver. "Sign it."
